  Thank you!

So many people signed the guest book in November and December that our email list almost doubled. Our mailing list has also grown and many others left messages in our voice mail after the store closed asking to be informed of a re-opening. But what was very moving were how many people came in and shared what the store meant to them. Thank you for all your support and for the confirmation that what we talk about, what we discover and what we have available at the store is as meaningful to you as it is to us.

If you still want a chance to express what Pymander has meant to you in the 34 years that it has been in Westport, send us an email and let us know. And if there are specific items that you would like us to carry or events you'd like to have at the store please let us know that as well. Thank you!

Inspiration & Transformation
February 2007

Dear Kristen,
When we closed our doors on December 27th it was not known whether we would re-open again or not. All I knew and had been saying is that change was opportunity. If we were supposed to re-open then I asked the universe to provide. That last week in December I received three messages about the same space in downtown Norwalk and so in the midst of packing and doing inventory I went down to see 37 Wall Street. This was a definite possibility.

Now that the universe had provided a space was I ready to accept the opportunity? As so many of you may have experienced, we often get what we ask for whether or not we are ready. Knowing what we want and what to ask for is the harder part. I needed time to wait out the exhaustion, time to get past the frenzy of the holidays, and time to listen to that still inner peace that knows all. Time was a gift that I was grateful to receive.

Then as the winter crispness finally arrived and grace became the dominant sensation, it was clear that Pymander would re-open. The way may not always be visible, but the direction can be clear. The intent in re-opening is to continue to provide the means for inspiration and transformation, whether through books, CDs, crystals, readings or events. A chance meeting of new or old friends, a synchronicity of messages, a phrase repeated for the third time but coming from different directions ... these are all common experiences at Pymander. The magic, the spirit, the light will continue. Come see us soon; we are re-opening on Sunday, March 11th at 1pm.

Re-Opening Celebration
On Sunday, March 11th at 2pm come celebrate Community with Kristen, Christine, Mary Beth and Laura as facilitators in a simple opening celebration to dedicate the new location as sacred space for the gathering of community in love, light and healing. Marcel Klasen will be playing guitar and don't forget that is the day we turn the clocks ahead an hour. Bring your own written prayers and intentions to add to the collective prayer. All are welcome.

About our New Location
This is a sketch of the redevelopment project that will be underway across the street. Wall Street has been undergoing rapid change in the last few years and we are happy to contribute to that change. Some of new neighbors are listed here on the left. Find out more about them by clicking on the links.

What to do While You are Waiting?
We don't have any other events scheduled at this time but if you are looking for something to do... there is Insight Meditation at the Grange in Weston. For information 203-259-9395. $15 drop-in.

On Saturday March 3rd at 7pm there is the Full Moon Drum Circle at Sticks & Stones in Newtown. Randy Brody facilitates. Connect with like-minded people while creating rhythmic music at this beautiful farm. We will be nice and warm in the heated barn. Dancing is encouraged! New Phone Number?

We don't have a new number yet, but in our next newsletter, due around the beginning of March, we should have it then. In the meantime you may still leave messages at our previous number 203-227- 1715. Until then....

Many blessings on your journey from all of us at Pymander.
